Kernel-based identification with frequency domain side-information

This paper discusses the problem of system identification when frequency domain side-information is available. We mainly consider case where provided as H∞-norm being bounded by a given scalar. framework allows considering different forms side-information, such dissipativity system. propose nonparametric approach for estimating impulse response under side-information. The estimation formulated constrained optimization in stable reproducing kernel Hilbert space, suitable constraints are considered incorporating desired features. resulting has an infinite-dimensional feasible set with infinite number constraints. show that this well-defined convex program unique solution. heuristic tightly approximates proposed equivalent to solving finite-dimensional quadratically quadratic program. efficiency discussed method verified several numerical examples.
